ALAN HAJJAR Partner, Controller

Alan Hajjar was already a successful engineer in Lebanon when he moved to Los Angeles, CA, in 1988, to earn his Masters degree in Structural Engineering from California State University Northridge (CSUN). Masters degree in hand Alain founded the successful Edco Engineering and Construction company. In 1990, he and partner Chris formed SEG to design and construct the ultimate Hollywood supper club, the Sunset Room, which quickly became one of the hottest spots in town. The SEG team followed success with success by designing, building and opening supper club White Lotus in 2003, Sterling Steakhouse and Cabana Club in 2005 and the hugely popular neo-Parisian, Hollywood salon Green Door in 2007. They took a historic turn in 2001 by renovating and re-opening the Hollywood landmark Pig 'n Whistle. Despite his success in the nightlife industry, Alain also heads an investment and development company that develops and subdivides numerous properties in the Southlands. He is currently developing a Mediterranean Organic Food chain Med Grill to open in Hollywood, CA and Foxwood, Connecticut.
